My Journey in Gifted Education

My introduction to gifted education began in 2017, during my time in the USA on SUSI scholarship, U.S. government-funded program that. It was there that I first learned about the unique needs and potential of gifted children. Intrigued, I immersed myself in reading about these exceptional learners. Upon returning to Iraq, I applied to teach at a school for gifted students in math and science, and from that moment, I dedicated myself to this field.

Recognizing the scarcity of experts in gifted education, especially as it is a relatively new field, I committed to developing my skills and knowledge. This dedication led me to senior leadership positions, where I was able to influence and shape programs for gifted students. In 2021, I was honored to receive a scholarship from the UK government to pursue a master’s degree at Goldsmiths, University of London. There, I expanded my expertise through academic research focused on gifted education.

Today, my mission is to support global parents and teachers in understanding and nurturing gifted children, helping them unlock their full potential.
